Wyndham Baise Resort is a five-star luxury hotel, renowned for its unique Chinese garden architectural style and rich supporting facilities. The hotel is located on the banks of the Youjiang River in the city center, adjacent to the Baise Garden Expo Park and the Aegean Sea Shopping Center, with convenient transportation.
一、Material selection: A combination of natural texture and high-end craftsmanship
Hotel furniture takes "solid wood and metal as core materials", extensively using high-quality woods such as "walnut and oak". Through meticulous mortise and tenon craftsmanship combined with modern hardware, it not only retains the warm and mellow texture of Chinese furniture but also enhances structural stability. For instance, the desk and wardrobe in the guest room are made of dark solid wood panels and paired with brass handles, creating a stable and grand visual effect. Some of the seats in the public areas are made of "rattan fabric", echoing the natural atmosphere of the garden landscape. At the same time, they are treated for water resistance to enhance durability and adapt to the humid climate in the south.
二、Design style: The collision of Chinese aesthetics and modern simplicity
1. Abstract expression of Chinese garden symbols
The furniture design extracts elements such as "window lattices, screens and rockery Outlines" from traditional gardens and simplifies them with modern techniques. For instance, the headboard of the guest room adopts a "square pattern hollowed-out design", which not only retains the Chinese charm but also creates a sense of light and shadow through LED light strips. The partition screen of the restaurant is inspired by the landscape of the Li River, using metal lines to outline the contours of the mountains, which echoes the green plants inside.
2. The detailed infiltration of Zhuang ethnic culture）
The furniture in some suites incorporates "Zhuang brocade patterns", such as the diamond-shaped geometric patterns on the carpets and cushions, as well as the copper drum reliefs on the wall decorations. The main color tones are indigo and ochre red, conveying the regional cultural characteristics. In addition, the reception desk in the hotel lobby is wrapped with the "Zhuang brocade weaving technique", combining traditional handicrafts with modern furniture.
