Wyndham Chongqing Changshou is the first international five-star hotel in Changshou District.The hotel is located in Building A3, Zhongke Future City, No. 7 Xinmin Road, Xinshi Subdistrict, Changshou District. It is adjacent to the Changshou District Government Service Center and a cluster of high-tech enterprises, offering convenient transportation.The hotel spans over 30,000 square meters and features 235 exquisitely appointed guest rooms and suites, starting at 55 square meters. The hotel's design emphasizes modern, light luxury, and features custom-made solid wood furniture and natural materials by Yagoowood, creating a high-end and comfortable living experience.
The furniture is based on simple and smooth lines, eliminating redundant decorations, while incorporating the "elegant charm" details of traditional eastern Sichuan architecture (such as the wood veneer texture of the headboard background and the curved contours of the public area chairs). It not only conforms to the international aesthetic of modern minimalism, but also conveys an elegant atmosphere through subtle oriental elements (such as mortise and tenon structure and wood fragrance), which is in line with Wyndham's brand tone of "understated luxury + relaxation".
Mainly solid wood, while taking into account diversity: a large number of high-grade solid woods such as walnut and mahogany are selected, with natural grain and hard texture, which not only ensures durability, but also emits a warm wood fragrance; at the same time, it is matched with rattan (such as lounge chairs), cotton and linen (such as bedding and curtains) and stone (such as coffee tables and washbasins). Through the contrast of materials (warmth of wood vs. coldness of stone, softness of fabric vs. hardness of metal), a rich tactile experience is created.Exquisite craftsmanship: From wood veneer dyeing to soft bag sewing, it reflects a high level of quality. For example, the leather workmanship of the bed screen is smooth and delicate, the edge details of the cabinet are neat, and the metal decorative strips are accurately embedded, showing "military-grade" production precision.
In its design, Yagoowood deeply explored Chongqing's local culture, translating elements of the Bayu landscape and eastern Sichuan folk houses into furniture language. The texture of the wood veneer simulates the curve of the Jialing River, and the pattern of the carpet draws inspiration from the topography of Chongqing's mountain city. Some public area furniture uses dark wood tones to echo the simplicity of eastern Sichuan's stilt houses, while the soft furnishings in guest rooms use light beige and dark green tones to restore the freshness of Bayu's natural landscape. The handles of the custom cabinets and the shapes of the lamps subtly incorporate the geometric symbols of Chongqing's "wharf culture", allowing guests to perceive local culture in the details.
This design not only fits the aesthetic taste of high-end business customers through its "modern light luxury" shell, but also conveys the local warmth of Chongqing with its "regional culture + natural materials" core, becoming a typical example of Yagoowood "culturally empowered hotel furniture".
